RV-6A fuselage skeleton construction photos. Baggage compartment ribs and aft fuselage stringers cleco'd in place:

This is a close up of the rear spar carry through bulkhead at the main longeron point where the gusset plate supporting roll bar structure is being attached:

Close up of the tail area bulkheads.  My youngest daughter, probably about 6 or 7 years old at this point in construction, was always wanting to come out to the garage to "help" me build my airplane.  I sometimes gave her clecos and cleco pliers to play with but eventually started giving her a black Sharpie pen and having her draw pictures on the inside of the fuselage.  The drawings in all the photos on this and my other fuselage construction pages are some of those pictures.  At the time I'm adding these words, my RV-6A has been flying for about 180 hours with her long ago decorations adorning the insides of the tail cone area.  I get to see them and remember Rachel's "help" every time I pull the baggage compartment bulkhead off for conditional inspections or maintenance (Jessi is the name of our dog; Remo is our cat):

Fuselage stiffners clamped and cleco'd in place:

Kinda starting to look like an airplane skeleton at this stage:
