More Wyoming desolation:

 

The cloud layer got pretty solid ahead of us about 60 or 70 nm from Rawlins but with plenty of clear air behind us, lots of gas in the tanks, clear areas to the south that we could see, and a known ceiling below the clouds of something in the range of 3,000' agl, we pressed on above the layer:

 

Justin really liked taking cloud pictures and got lots of them in the last 20 minutes or so into Rawlins:

 

These pictures make it look like we were "stuck" on top, but in reality there were multiple visible holes ahead and to our right and clear skies in range behind us and south of us with plenty of room to get under the layer:
